Join the Cinema Life Volunteer Jury Program

We’re currently launching a 6-month Volunteer Jury Program across Cinema Life’s film festivals, and we’re actively welcoming new jury members. If you’d like to join us for this period, we’d be happy to provide an Official Jury Certificate upon completion, based on participation and performance. It’s a great way to get more involved in the festival circuit, gain hands-on experience, and build your professional credentials.

Our Volunteer Jury Program is designed for emerging filmmakers, film lovers, critics, and creatives who want a deeper understanding of how film festivals operate—from programming and evaluation to curation and awards selection.

As a Volunteer Jury Member, you will:

1-Screen and evaluate selected festival submissions.
2- Collaborate with the festival programmer.
3-Gain insight into the inner workings of independent film festivals.
4-Contribute to selecting official award winners.
5-Receive Festival Passes and an Official Jury Certificate–based on performance and completion.

Who can apply?

1-Ages 18+
2-Based anywhere (local participants will also have the opportunity to attend in-person festival activities and events).
3-Passionate about film and the independent film community.
4-No prior jury experience or formal qualifications required. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to build industry connections, strengthen your resume, and be part of a supportive, creative festival community.
