Panelists offer their feedback after each pitch and there is an audience Q&A after so you can ask these professionals your questions about the industry.

OUR CURRENT PANELISTS
On the last Wednesday of every month, we have three panelists ofering their feedback to our pitchers after each presentation.
Our current panelists are Marquelle Young, Michael McCoy, Marc Simon, Ronnel Parham, and Tracy Tolliver

Alpha Tyler
Alpha began her career in casting as an intern on the feature film Titanic and simultaneously on the classic tv comedy series Martin, where she was promoted to casting assistant. She is credited as being instrumental in the creation of the first and only Casting Minor in academia. She is also a proud member of the Casting Society of America.

Michael McCoy
Michael is a Small Business Consultant, Developer and Investor who helps entrepreneur filmmakers and startups by introducing viable and alternative business resources while guiding in the development of their business ideas. In his spare time, Michael enjoys many forms of art and the competitive nature of sports, while never shying away from a great business idea or opportunity.
Ronnel Parham
Ronnel is multi award winning actor in addition to being a multi award winning creator, writer and producer. He holds a BA in Liberal Arts from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a MA in Criminology from Indiana University of PA. Ronnel’s mission is to change the landscape of Television and Film by creating and telling stories that represent the underrepresented.
Shellie Schmals
Shellie Schmals is the Senior Program & Industry Relations Manager at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. She’s a multi-hyphenate producer/performer who loves to curate and host events with a focus on art, burlesque, comedy, film, and vintage fashion. Shellie also serves in leadership roles at Women in Film & Television Atlanta, Georgia Production Partnership, and Film Festival Alliance.
Marquelle Young
With over a decade of experience in the film and theatre industry, both in front of and behind the camera, Young has worked as an actor, producer, director, and 1st AD in film, having trained at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and various professionals over the years, including the likes of Tony-winning Director, Kenny Leon and Emmy-winning Director, Mary Lou Belli, to name a few.
Mark Simon
The Godfather of Storyboarding, has amassed over 5,000 credits, including Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Black Lightning, and Woody Woodpecker. He is the animation producer for How High 2, Little Rascals and Tooth Fairy 2 features. He has authored 13 books and lectures around the world.

MEET MARTI YOUNG, OUR NEWEST PANELIST
Marti Young
Marti King Young is a writer, director, and producer whose work, including the award-winning “The Adventures of Wonderboy,” champions social activism. She’s opened doors for special needs individuals in major productions with MGM, FX, and Netflix. Marti’s collaborated with industry giants like James Wan and Sheryl Anderson, and her directing prowess has earned her accolades. As a mentor and teacher, she’s leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

Tracy Tolliver
Tracy is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, and filmmaker with a knack for storytelling. After years of acting, she decided to start writing and producing her own content. She is known for the short Diva, Interrupted and the web series.
Blair Bathory
Screenwriter, Director, Producer, and Digtal Content Creator! Filmmaker of 12 years with a hyper-focus in horror.
Mitch Hudson
Mitch is an award-winning writer and director who made his first feature-length film in 2015 and most recently directed a TV episode intended for release in the fall of 2023. In addition to creating his own content, Mitch also works as an assistant director, and has been an integral part of projects such as The Chosen, Samaritan, and the upcoming, Boys of Summer.
