Pitch Deck: the visual showcase of your project
PITCH DECK: THE VISUAL SHOWCASE OF YOUR PROJECT
Your pitch deck is going to be the visual showcase of your project that highlights what your project is about and the details that come with it. There is nothing more awkward than a filmmaker pulling up a pitch deck and one full page is just typed words. No one wants to watch a pitch presentation and have to read from their slides; these should be visually captivating and partner with your verbal explanations of your project.
When you make your pitch deck you want to make sure there is a common theme with your colors and design elements. Make this consistent throughout for the most professional and captivating presentation.

These are some of the things you need to include in your pitch deck:
• Film Poster
• Logline
• Synopsis
• Character Breakdown
• Crew Breakdown
The best way to get visual elements is to get actors you already know in your community to give you permission to use their headshots and utilize contacts you already have
These are just some tips to get you ready before pitching your project. You can read more about this and other topics on how to improve your your film or screenplay pitch in our E-Book, the Pitching Best Practices Guide, also included in our newest release, the Annual Submission Pass Membership!
